A typical form looks like this:

A form shows you the fields in a record within a database. Some fields you can change, and some are just for your information. Most fields are presented as a prompt, ellipsis, entry triplet. The ellipsis, when pressed will usually bring up a pick list of options for the field. Selecting one will automatically fill in the associated entry. Or you can just type into the entry area. If what you type is not recognised, the select list will be shown automatically.
